This type of metal printing Stencil is used to replace the original screen printing and has the following characteristics:
1. The printing mask plate manufactured by electroplating, as its substrate is a metal sheet (nickel sheet) as shown in the figure below, can achieve a grid line opening rate of 100%, while the traditional screen opening rate can only reach 40% -60%. The opening area of the printing mask plate manufactured by electroplating does not have metal wires, which reduces the requirement for the printability of the slurry. A slurry with a relatively high viscosity and high solid content can be used for printing;
2. Thick mask templates can print thicker grid lines. Templates made by electroplating method have high precision, with dimensional and positional accuracy of 1 μ m and a diameter to thickness ratio of 0.5 (i.e. the minimum size of the opening can be 0.5 of the thickness). The electroplating mask template of Guanghong Optoelectronics Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. can open holes of 30-40 μ m on a mask template with a thickness of 50-60 μ m, effectively ensuring the cross-sectional area of the printed grid lines and reducing the series resistance of solar cells;
3. It is manufactured using electroplating method, and the thin sheet is deposited from nickel ions, which have high hardness and wear resistance. This type of metal template is not easily damaged and has a long service life;
Electroforming method is a process from scratch, and its thickness is not controlled by existing materials. It can be freely selected, and the thickness of the thin film can be chosen according to the required height of the grid line. We can achieve a thickness of 0.02MM-0.30MM as needed.
